Never going to happen with the current administration. Just a big Dog and Pony show.
It’s not pretty but it is familiar to Windows user and very powerful.
Same reason as the rest of the world: too complicated to use. Also pretty much all the DEs are ugly and dated, save for GNOME, in my opinion.
I don’t know that anyone has collected any sort of data on reliability. I have a CWWK board that’s been working well for about a year now.

Nah that’s at least an hour, assuming there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it.
$20 is one hell of a price, considering how much time must have gone into this machine!
HDDs are plenty fast enough to play movies. It sounds like you have another problem.
