No suggestion other than to listen to some Zorba!

I’m sorry for this insensitive joke, but MiiTomo was too good.
They reinstated a lot of them last time.
Compounded issue! Since you know, heavy metals are still an issue lmao
Color change, eh? Sounds like B+W makes displays more energy efficient, that should be significant!

Ahh so it’s still never been confirmed then. The Aether2x event and the Reddit third-party event happened relatively close together, so I never got closure.
Sad that the emulation community has such a prevalent amount of vocal people who go around expectantly harassing developers. Such a large part of the community seems so nice and wholesome, but there is a significant portion that is also extremely vile and consistently ruins it for the rest of us.
Edit: Oh, and thank you for responding.
Linux isn’t for you. Trust me, as someone who doesn’t really like using Linux all that much.
If you stick with it, pick one. Stick with it. Use its documentation, not online forums.
You can’t use online forums because CLI on how to do things varies from distro to distro. So a command for Ubuntu is useless somewhere else, most of the time.
That results in following guides and having it stop working part way through. You will never get anywhere like this. When you eventually do get somewhere, you’re going to take some time away, or you’re going to break something on accident. Then you’ll have to set it all up again and likely will have lost some data if you weren’t careful.
I built a server PC for Plex and a few other programs, after a number of years running various temporary projects, like Raspberry Pi servers I felt semi-confident. It was going for about 7 months and now it is stuck in a grub menu and if I am able to get into the desktop everything is fucked up anyway.
Tl;Dr, you are having issues because you went with the most complicated distros. Run some normal ones like Mint in Virtual Machines, get a feel for the process to install a program – 1) manually, 2) from the “Linux store” (package manager) 3) from GitHub.
Anything else is just asking for a frustration headache
Iirc - Duckstation dev is the same one who did Aether2x right?
Social media people only get paid €100 a month? I doubt that.
It was the same for anti-war compilation concerts against Bush in the 2000’s, it’s more about the statement a lot of times.
I’m sure.its a bit of that too, but I do feel like the ultimate reason is still, “well why are you taking time off to do something that isn’t only benefitting you?”
basically the same mindset that created this culture is what developed compensation for our time, as opposed to just taking the loss for the day to do a good thing.
Damn right! Damn hell ass right!
You lack the cultural lens of America. About half of our country governs from the perspective of “why should I?” with the most negative and self-preserving mindset possible.
Why should I pay for others healthcare, even if it means they pay for mine? Why should I donate my blood if it doesn’t benefit me?
Solve that problem by giving you $25-100 for your “donations”
You have to scroll up some, it goes that far over because of the word wormhole
It’s funny, I’ve been thinking a lot about people’s acknowledgement of faults or shortcomings and choosing to ignore them, whether it’s because they agree, don’t care, or think it doesn’t matter. Or don’t agree and there’s no better alternative, or it’s the least bad alternative. I dunno.
In the public internet spaces like Facebook, discord, the others, I’ve been seeing a lot of this happening recently with Linkin Park’s new singer. Some are happy and ignorant, some know and don’t care, some know and are saddened. There is a lot of vitrol between the people who know and are saddened and the people who don’t know/don’t care. This is just one example from this week, but it happens every week to every story. It can be, probably, literally applied to anything. People’s level of information heavily biases them from their predisposed beliefs (as in, if they already have an opinion, chances are that the opinion will not change when presented with new information).
In our spaces I see it with Brave. I see it with Kagi. We all saw it with Unity en masse and something actually happened about that, but even so people are still using Unity today, albeit I would guess out of necessity, or now ignorance since time has passed (not saying ignorance here is a fault). Before then we saw it with Audacity. Can’t forget Reddit, where a significant chunk of users are now participating here instead. And… yet… Reddit still exists, nearly in full.
It’s such a crazy phenomena with how opinions are formed from emotional judgements based on the level of information they have, and due to our current state of informational sharing there are microcosms of willful ignorance. And some aren’t ignorant, it just doesn’t matter to them.
It was announced after all the reports. So it wasn’t, “I’m only studio now that we’re all back” it’s more, “we’re back now and I may have planned on doing tours, now I’m not so sure.”
IMO, of course. Reminds me of other tour shenanigans that bands have done over the years.
One of the guitarists won’t be touring live with them, only in the studio. So, not the whole band.
The Mountain, The Brothers Karamazov, and The Magus.
Cloud Atlas.
I just watched a fun video today about a class action lawsuit happening against the company that sells Zantac, the most widely used acid reflux medicine in the world.
Turns out, Ranitadine, an active ingredient that can cause NDMA’s (a cancerous toxin to humans) is used in Zantac. Supposedly, it was only under the range approved by the FDA, at about 18 nanograms.
Well, kept at a temperature of just 77F over 12 days, that number doubles to 25 nanograms, and at 158F up to 142ng.
Your safe medicine is left out in the sun or in your car, it can produce extremely high levels of NDMA’s making it no longer safe and now a very high cancer risk if taken.
So alongside everything mentioned, there’s also lovely stuff like this happening to us. And I’m sure companies that make Zantac were greatly benefitted by the pollution restrictions that were removed throughout 2016, further harming all of us in the process.
So, that’s great.
Edit: so
