Getting into marriage in this context seems like a recipe for creating financial and legal stresses for a future you if a divorce happens. The rules of engagement, so to speak, change once you get married and it can create a lot of misery that just co-habitating or co-parenting avoid. Divorce is a whole other level than breaking up.
Also just because her parents are rich, doesn’t mean they’ll share it with you - or not use it as a way to control you

Useful clarification, thank you. I’m not sure where my vision is at. I definitely do the thing of taking my glasses off and back on depending on what I am doing. But even with them off I’m starting to find some print hard to read — mainly the small print on products. I’ll have to see. I’m overdue for a new prescription. Also getting intermittent splotches of white in my periphery so that’s a new fun thing to worry about.
Reminders of aging bodies + of capitalism’s negative impact on us: this post has not cheered me up today lol

I appreciate the clarifications, thanks! Yeah, I agree on that slow creep of vision loss. I’ve been nearsighted a long time and am now losing my reading distance vision. But I can still read without glasses, and so I do. But it’s probably not as sharp, and I suspect that might lead me to read less than I otherwise would

I don’t understand this statement, tbh. Or the odd antagonism of it. Are you saying all people above the age of 42 need to be wearing progressive glasses?

Apologies, I thought adjustment just related to the frames. Would they be swapping lenses, in this case?

Sounds costly. And, at what point do you know they are properly aligned or not?

I mean, given all this, how tf is a layperson supposed to get the right product?

Nice, thank you. I just have a Lodge. Haven’t had any gripes about it, but curious what difference would come from leveling up

What is above Victoria?
I’m on mbin, after kbin. It’s clunky but passable. I wish they’d get rid of some of the aternative jargon (thread vs post vs magazine) among other changes
More broadly, any therapist who does parts work, which is not limited to IFS

I might be wrong, but the Beatles weren’t performing live by those albums. The closest option would the famous rooftop jam they did at the Apple studio in 69

Yup. I find written fluff faster to run through than video fluff

Does she have any recommendations for trainings to become a trainer of these skills?

Yeah I’ve not personally used anything but steel and cast iron for years now

There was a recent post somewhere bringing attention to how ceramic pans are often not truly ceramic but an amalgamation that includes more questionable materials and/or being only a thin layer covering lower quality metal that could leach. That would make me wary of bottles with ceramic linings
Have sympathy for the individual who lost his life, by most accounts in an act of charity, not for the society
