Potash…potash is forever. I can never escape my dark past.
You could have multiple fans especially if it’s a desktop. Check if there’s another one.
Do you have an HDD or a SSD? If it’s an HDD it’s the disk inside of it making that noise and you should get a new one immediately.

I love KDE because I can customize it to do crazy shit but that also means it gets buggy at times. If I want something that looks nice out of the box and Just Works™ then I go with cinnamon. I really dislike GNOME, particularly the application icons. They look bad and I find it much more difficult to customize than cinnamon or KDE.

LMDE is rock solid. I’ve been using it for a while and It Just Works.
We don’t actually know where the term cracker originated from, that’s just one theory. A lot of white (particularly Irish) slaves and indentured servants in the early colonial years were called crackers too.
The term now just means a poor rural white person particularly (but not always) from the South. I got called it growing up and don’t find it offensive if it’s not said in a mean way.
Whatever you say, Mr. President!
Woah, thank you for this. I’ve wanted to learn more about torrenting and how music files work anyway so actually sitting down and needing to study for this is a big plus.
