Exactly my point, people flying that route are taking connecting flights
How many are a final destination? Orlando is a big hub for planes coming from South America and Atlanta is the biggest US hub, so probably a lot of people flying that route are connecting and wouldn’t make a lot of sense to get a plane ticket and then a train and then another flight
This was in Europe tho
Yes, meant not on the equator, above as in northern (or southern)
The jet steams are above the equator, so they would be smaller
Edit: above as in northern or southern latitudes
Not anymore, it stopped working a while ago
The second one is more generic, but I agree with the first one
it’s because most larger concert halls in the USA and the ticket service they use online are owned by the most evil fucking corporation and I am fucking sick of it.
Do you realize AXS is not Ticketmaster/Live Nation?
I’m not defending them but they are different corporations
In my previous job I had to travel very often to customer’s sites or or other offices
The ones in Germany drank regularly during lunch time. I never felt comfortable to do it since my job was very technical. In one office they even had a fridge full of beers and wines that you could grab freely. I never saw anybody drinking at the office tho
This is not how all plug in hybrids work. This is a specific type of hybrid usually called in-series. The engine is not connected to the powertrain and it only supplies energy to the battery or motors
The biggest “issue” is that now you have a generator in your car making a constant noise that is not “attractive” or feels “luxurious” which unfortunately the people with money to adopt new technologies look for
Ram is releasing one soon https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a45734742/2025-ram-1500-ramcharger-revealed/
BYD and Nissan have similar technologies, but it is not widely adopted yet
Related, one of my favorite (recent) videos from the Internet
Yes! Instagram is the main way I start in touch with my friends and family and I keep my fb account alive because my parents and aunts/uncles still use it. Whatsapp is also our main form of communication so basically we are super tied to meta. I did close my twitter and Reddit accounts but essentially all the people I care about use meta in some form or another
My deodorant was flagged 3 times in a row for some reason, even tho it’s bar and not gel. I learned to take it out of my backpack to avoid the extra search
On my last flight I forgot to do it and the agent seemed to be very bored and tested a bunch of stuff I had on my backpack, took about 10 minutes going through everything while more and more bags were flagged for additional search behind him
Did you check DHL? I had to sent papers recently and DHL was a lot cheaper and it was the same delivery timing
I really hate the MIlogin questions, sometimes I fail to answer correctly for some stupid mistake and need to wait a couple of days to retry
It’s partially the fault of everyone who just goes on Kayak and hits whatever is the cheapest option. That’s what I do, anyway. Or did, until this week, when I learned my lesson about it.
I guess that’s true. When you go through the website they have many warnings when you select basic economy about the carry on not being included, I have to basically budget +$60 each time I’m looking for flights because they always show the basic economy first

It makes sense if you are going to Atlanta or Orlando, not if you are just connecting somewhere else
Don’t get me wrong, I love trains and I’d love to see a big network of high speed trains
