I’ve never heard of a concept of a third place. Seems like everybody should have one.

This makes me sad. Voodoo is still one of my favorite albums of all time.
Are there apps for this yet?

Awesome, now tell me what you think about tswift’s new album? I listened to 3 seconds of it and hated it!

Is this any better?

I think a lot of times they don’t want you to know what’s been updated. For instance, pointing out all the bugs you’re fixing might make your app look like it’s always full of bugs. Or the security fix might draw attention to issues that exist for currently outdated apps.
Not saying it’s a good reason, but maybe that’s their thought process.

Not that early.

Before Trump, we’re get republican still? My parents were always super republican, but won’t vote for Trump. Also won’t vote for a democrat….

I have memories of them being featured on supermarket sweep as well.

This applies to places like Lemmy as well. If seeing all the bad shit on the politics community is triggering, block it!

You should take all the things that stress you out that you have no control over, and just toss them out window. You can’t control them, so why worry about them?
There’s plenty of things worthy of your time that you can control. So focus on them.

Phew. I still use Firefox as my primary.

As an aside, what web browser is everyone using these days? Chrome is obviously out. Firefox seems to be fucking up as of late. Opera? DDG?

I am willing to bet there will be A LOT of people. I am a very tech savvy person, and I use edge on my work computer for many things (single sign on). My default search engine changed to bing, and I ended up using bing by accident for a while. And then for a while longer cause I was too lazy to change the setting.

Gaslighters are gonna gaslight.

I get it. But saying Jesus is the snare doesn’t really make sense. Community is the answer, and that’s what they provide.
😂
On the reals, I have an atheist friend who started volunteering at a church literally for this reason. I totally understood where he was coming from. If I didn’t have a family and wanted a way to spend time with other people, I’d probably do the same.
