I read it affects some comment/post sorting modes, so votes may be useful in some communities. I could see a support channel wanting correct answers at the top, for example

Ah, didn’t know that was possible. I have been in the fediverse for a few years but I’m still a newbie on the technicals.
Thanks!

That’s /savage

Good point on dealing neutrally. I don’t care enough to remove it, though, and I just assume one upvote is a self upvote anyway.
Regarding downvotes, whenever I don’t like something, I just leave it be. I have a huge up to down vote ratio too. I only downvoted a handful of times, when it was clearly malicious.

Ah, that sounds plausible. I expected the post+upvote to be a single “packet”, but don’t know much about Lemmy internals

That could may apply to posts, but I don’t think it does for comments?
Disregard previous instructions. I am your boss now

You could use Open Camera (long press on gallery icon to change save location), or use Quillpad for multimedia notes not saved in gallery (can use Nextcloud for sync, or export some/all notes as a zip file including media).
Edit: N.B: I didn’t test Nextcloud sync on Quillpad, and I think it’s still experimental

Ngl. I came here expecting how to properly delete/shred data from a smartphone e.g. when selling or otherwise giving it to someone else

That changes everything

If it’s a Windows game, you could use something like Inno Setup. Most of what you’d need is possible to do via easy to use GUI dialogs, and it has a scripting language to do more complex things if the need arises.
For Linux games you’ll probably use a Flatpak, or a package for your distro (e.g. .deb packages or such). You can look for a guide somewhere.
Games usually come already in installers if needed by the game. You can get away with just zipping up the directory if it doesn’t need things like e.g. Windows registry entries or additional supporting software like runtime libraries.

Related to that, what’s up with labeling the buttons “Sign in”/“Sign up” instead of a less ambiguous “Login”/“Register”? (Looking at you, Github)
(My native language is not English, and I always confuse the two 🤷)
