Police officers are part of the government, they bear arms against citizens literally every day. The premise is entirely flawed.

The man thinks (or at least says) that empathy is a bad thing. There’s no guilt without a conscience, and no conscience without empathy. Obscenely unfathomable wealth takes care of the rest.

I think at least 2 people I work with don’t have cases. For me I think it’s more about function than protection at this point. Phones are so damn thin they’re actually kind of uncomfortable to hold compared to one with a case, and I feel more likely to drop it without a case. I always get a case with some kind of kickstand which I use often enough to feel is justified.

Well there’s the obvious things like not getting much sleep for a while, everyone knows about that. But there’s also the shared experience of it that brings you closer than just about anything else can. However, there’s just so little meat and so much fat on babies, it really put me off it. Next time I’d have the steak instead.
