wow, that’s terrifying and gross 🙃 it would have been free for people not to do this
i hope it stays that way. i’m sick of these ceos and their garbage :/
🎉 long live lemmy 💙
exactly my thinking :/ we still have a huge “cop ego” and profiling problem here in the states, too. so many americans, especially p.o.c., getting profiled all the time for nothing. they’re even worse off and trump gets to ask for “damages”. it’s disgusting
same. trump has seemed to be so slippery and able to get out of pretty much anything :/
wappreciate you 💙
lmao yeah, that guy, couldn’t be him, right? /s
spez lied? no way, not spez, the same butthole who keeps lying about 3rd party developers, spitting in the face of mods, and destroying communities on reddit in the name of the almighty dollar. couldn’t be that guy 🙄
lmao i’m not high enough for this post
idk, some of my fellow tech furries have ridiculously large homelabs and servers that have massive amounts of storage. i don’t think it’s impossible, but may require someone to come up with a way for us to decentralize video which, ofc, is humungo-bonzonga-jumbo
reddit and youtube really shouting out how much companies don’t give two farts about its users. there’s so much wholesome and educational content on youtube but, dogs forbid, youtube make $5 fewer in revenue than yesterday 🙄 i can’t wait for grassroots decentralization of the internet, including video
rip king 👑
lmao so, in other words, the richest man alive fails to pay his rent. what a time we live in~
aw damn, that was a good idea :C i already deleted everything on my account and then my account, rip
hosting cost for peertube would probably be astronomical since you’re likely hosting the videos yourself :/ unless there is some sort of federation that kind of works like bittorrent. that would be awesome
you’re definitely right on most points. but, to your point, if a creator was on a federated instance of peertube then they don’t have to worry about the wishy-washy, everchanging rules of youtube :3
oh look, another web service who wants to strangle its users for money and ad views :D when’s a peertube instance going to get some big creators on it supported by viewers? that’ll do it, i bet
i’ll miss banging you two
