Edit: something occurred to me. Are yours from a small town or a rural area? Mine are from Moscow. I have a feeling that might matter.

6·1 month agoYou could look for wide shoes, not all brand make them. So, instead of looking for size 12, look for 12 Wide (I think it’s usually shown as the letter B, so 12B). I’m a cis woman with wide feet, and this is what I do.
Negative reviews are not easily removed on eBay. My husband has been a seller for years now. People will complain about the wildest shit that was clearly addressed in the listing, then you spend 2 hours on the phone with eBay, and likely they will keep the review.
On Amazon, on the other hand, vendors will personally reach out to you if you give anything less than 5 stars and basically “work” with you u til you change your rating (giving you free shit). A lot of people end up changing their review.

You do understand that in communist Russia there were very few restaurants, and only the select few could afford to get in and eat there? Eating out wasn’t a thing at all.
My Russian parents go out for every occasion because they would rather have someone else cook and clean. Plus the food is much more diverse and usually better cooked.
Judging by how now in Russia there are hundreds of thousands of restaurants, I would say that not all Russian parents prefer home cooked meals. But yours do.
