  • I thought graceful degradation in terms of web design was mostly just to promote using the latest current browser features but to allow it to fall back to the feature set of, say, 1 or 2 previous browser versions. Not to support a user completely turning off a feature that has been around for literal decades? I think what you’re promoting is the “opposite” side, progressive enhancement, where the website should mostly work through the most basic, initial features and then have advanced features added later for supported browsers.

  • Sharing info about de-banking is cool but lets try to keep the FUD out of it. What the so-called “ENDING CRIME AND DISORDER ON AMERICA’S STREETS” order says regarding this seems mostly contained in Sec. 3, which basically threatens to pull housing and urban development funds from states that don’t meet the administrations crazy rules. . I also see nothing to validate your claim that folks with a mental health diagnosis need three addresses (two back-up addresses implies the existence of a third main address).

Thanks, yeah it did. They were autoflowers thankfully so I only lost like 3 months of time but it still stung having to trash it all. How’s the humidity where you are? I learned that botrytis needs three things to attack your plant:

    1. a host (the strawberries)
    2. an initial food supply. an open wound on the plant is all it takes.
    3. this is the big one, and the one i was warned about but ignored, HUMIDITY. I’m on the east coast and it got incredibly humid last summer.

As long as you can control for 2 of the 3 you should keep the mold at bay. I built a cheapo cage out of 1x2s and window screening to keep out the moths, as well as some some outdoor rated fans to help with the humidity. The strains I’ve grown so far definitely need defoliation so I can’t do much about not having open wounds on the plant. I’ve found college extension websites to be a very reliable source of free information if you want to do some reading!
