Hard to say without knowing your full situation.
Does your power utility do net metering? How much do you expect to generate compared to your usage on a annual basis?
I got a 6.5kW system a few years ago for a final price of around 12k after rebates. It covers nearby all of my usage and my provider does net metering, so really good days cover less good days, summer covers winter, etc.
Link seems to be trying to find a user rather than a community. At least in the Connect app.
Does that still get registered that way if identical links/posts are cross posted instead of duplicated?
I regularly see duplicate rather than cross post, which is a shame.
Support ranked choice voting first. Once we have that, a huge portion of the power the two parties have will fall away
One supports the killing or elimination of lgbtq+ people, the other doesn’t. That is enough reason for me, even outside of the other reasons they are not the same.
Not likely, I think. Hosting text and images is far less expensive than high quality video to compete with YouTube or others.
Are you using the same user name? I had a similar issue with my local instance, ended up just having to make a new user name, since the previous one was already known about, even though all of the other instance says was different. So it wouldn’t federated my posts and comments. Admin tried a bunch of stuff to no avail.
Some astronomers are looking at JWST data and claiming they are seeing galaxies with red shifts in the range of 11-20, which if accurate, correspond to ages older than we’d expect to see galaxies of such size formed. Other astronomers disagree, and believe that the results aren’t so clear. This the “hubble tension” or “crisis in cosmology” maybe still live on.
It is exciting, either we get more data to confirm our current understanding or we need to discover be physics and form new theories that align with the data. Either way is great, imo.

We estimate the age of some stars to be older than the estimated age of the universe. JWST observations have also made it “worse”. https://youtu.be/hps-HfpL1vc?si=H9tdTD3DJYLkalvx
That last bit is the important thing. If someone tells you pronouns, use them. If someone tells you they prefer “they/them” and you keep using he or she on purpose, you are disrespecting them.
We all make mistakes sometimes and most people I’ve met who use alternative pronouns that may conflict with their socially expected appearance don’t mind correcting someone a few times or will brush it off a few times, but more than that, especially if you see and interact with this person regularly, you become an asshole.
I don’t mind driving, especially through the mountains. So I don’t really think twice driving for 3 hours each way to spend an hour apple picking, for instance.
Based on Twitter definitions of state affiliated, govt funded, and public funded, NPR aligns the least with state affiliated and most with publicly funded, right?
How state-affiliated media accounts are defined
State-affiliated media is defined as outlets where the state exercises control over editorial content through financial resources, direct or indirect political pressures, and/or control over production and distribution. Accounts belonging to state-affiliated media entities, their editors-in-chief, and/or their prominent staff may be labeled. We will also add labels to Tweets that share links to state-affiliated media websites.
How government-funded media accounts are defined
Government-funded media is defined as outlets where the government provides some or all of the outlet’s funding and may have varying degrees of government involvement over editorial content. We may use external sources similar to this one in order to determine when this label is applied.
How publicly-funded media accounts are defined
Publicly-funded media refers to media organizations that receive funding from license fees, individual contributions, public financing, and commercial financing.
Oregon is definitely an example for other states to follow in this regard.
The left vs right thing in Japan depends on the city. Particularly for escalators. Some places will have signs that say to stand on left while others say to stand on right. Others also say not to walk on the escalator, but people always ignore that.
As I understand it, there is a way to format links that will open the community on your current instance. I’ve seen people say that, anyway, but don’t know what that link format is.
In every place I have been to that use this, they will still take order by person. Maybe I’m just lucky, though.
