You can probably do some more advance tasks via CLI. Also usually lists information faster. But honestly you will be overall fine with GUI a majority of the time.
Some people just like being in the terminal.

I think you are confusing private with anonymous. One can be private without being anonymous.
Its due to compression of the video in order to fit on a MMS message, which is very small. Android uses RCS as a new message standard that can send bigger files but Apple has yet to add it to their OS. Its similar to how Apple uses iMessage to do the same, however this is not a standard and is locked to only apple devices.
Apple is supposedly adding support for RCS during the new iOS update but until then you can use a different messaging app to send better/larger files.
I recommend Signal as it is easy to sign up and start using while also being private.
You should be fine doing what you want on Linux. Just make sure everything works before installing completely. There is a liveUSB mode that let’s you try it before you install.
Mint and PoP os are good ones to try.
Can also check out Zorin os which is pretty good too but doesn’t update as often.
Without much context all I can suggest is PowerAmp for music player. It is a paid app.
Eternity for Lemmy.
Heliboard for a more private keyboard.
Newpipe for YouTube.
Straight chilled water.
If I need extra hydration aka eletrolytes, I either put pure electrolytes in it or a flavored powder like Liquid IV.
Check out LocalSend. App that let you send things over local WiFi. No server required.
Desktops. Don’t have to worry about batteries and easier to swap out parts.
Sounds like a tough situation to be in. Next option is to be clear and upfront that you want to keep the relationship professional. If that is still ignored, I say ignore the person. There isn’t much you can do about the actions they decide to take. All you can do it control your own actions and explain your side of the situation if needed. Document anything that you may feel relative to proving your attempt to kept things professional. Best of luck.
Yes, it seems to break on Linux. Only got it working by spoofing the browser on a chrome based one to think I’m on windows.
Ignore or if you must reach out some way, then through the work email keeping it professional.
Pretty much this. Nothing is really holding them back from collecting data so its easier for them to do this in bulk. They do buy data as well from information brokers. Bigger companies usually have wider reachers to collect more. They have pretty much free range when we agree to use their products, forced or otherwise.
Pick up habits, profiling so they can know what you are interested in and the areas you frequent to target you more efficiently. More likely for directed advertising but can also be for influencing.
Acid assisted microwave digestion
Running tp-link. So far no issues. Asus is good, tp-link gives you more features on the cheaper models than Asus like vlan if you want it.

Ebooks. Can store more on a reading tablet, easier to transport most of the time, sometimes lighter than physical books, hold my spot easily where I left off, can read in darker places, easier to store. Still have physical but liking digital more. Use an eink display tablet. Buy the books then download epubs or PDFs.
Collabora Office, but it can lag at times.
Localsend is a good one to try out. Works with all devices and is pretty fast. It does however require an app to run.
For something you can run off the web on PC you can try pairdrop. This doesn’t require an app to work on PC. Haven’t tried it without the app on mobile so not sure if it will work on there via web.
I prefer Localsend over pairdrop due to local send being completely server less and all local.
