  • Not the answer to your question, but I find it important to point out, that atheist and non theist are not necessarily the same.

A non theist isn’t necessarily a non believer who rejects all religion like the general understanding of an atheist.

The Dalai Lama for example calls himself an non theist and so do I as a Buddhist. Buddhism is a believe system, a religion, that does not believe that there is a god or gods. Some subdivisions of buddhism believe in divine beings you can turn to and pray to, but they all used to be ordinary humans, same as the Buddha, who obtained enlightenment and transcended into a higher form of being.

  • This is the UK and not the US.

Cats in europe are far, far less at risk or a risk to the environment then in the US and outdoor cats are not at all a problem.

A cat being run over is rare. Being shot, poisoned or killed by a coyote or other wildlife quite unheard of. And they don’t pose any significant thread to local wildlife.

Americans created that dangerous and deadly invironment for animals themselves. That doesn’t mean that the whole world has to lock up or leash their cats.

  • Normally they ask what kind of cookies you “allow”, so you have to remove it if you don’t want them to collect your data.

Most of the time there are 3 levels you can choose:

    • accept all. Which means they can use cookies and collect data as they want.
    • allow necessary and legitimate interest cookies, which means they collect some and often it means targeted advertising.
    • only necessary cookies. That’s the minimum setting that only allows what it needs to run the page and gives you random advertising.

You normally have to tick the option you want them to do and remove the tick of what you don’t want to allow. But it depends on the wording if they asking you to “ALLOW” or “DENY” the options.

  • As a former ICU nurse I can tell you that someone who has been taking good care of their body, is fit and healthy, has a better chance of survival and less complications while recovering as someone who didn’t. No matter the injury.

If you get hit by a bus and your lung is compromised it has a harder time compensating for the injury if it was already damaged.

So yes. You might have a better chance to survive a car crash if you haven’t been smoking.
