How do you use it?

My main interaction with Pinterest had been with it clogging my search results with copied images that no longer link back to their source pages.

I was very excited about open firmware and ran FreshTomato for a while. Eventually I decided it wasn’t reliable though (2.4Ghz wasn’t actually running on one router, occasional speed issues).

I switched to Unify and have had a great experience. Great visibility into link speed, which device is on which AP, able to SSH into each device and run iperf3, WiFiMan is a great debugging tool (which you don’t need their ecosystem to try), notifies me when the ISP is slow/down. There’s a bewildering array of hardware and it’s not cheap or always in stock, but there are some good guides around.

So, I’d like FOSS to be the right answer, but in this case I’m glad I switched to Unifi.

It seems like the AI never gets tired of writing code

I think that’s a telling observation. The whole reason we have software, and programming languages, is that people get tired.

Necessity has invented generally and reuse to combat repetition. With agents that don’t tire, they don’t gravitate to generally — but their endless repetition does tire their human reverse-centaur bodies dealing with the code review and maintainability they can’t reason about.

So for example, there was a study recently that found, when you’re looking for the best whatever it is, in something like 44 percent of cases ChatGPT is citing a blog post from a company’s own website where they listed themselves as the No. 1 best option and then 10 competitors, and ChatGPT is just spitting this out to other people.

It’s different than it used to be, right? People have been tricking search engines forever, but with a search engine it shows you the web page where the information came from. If you go to my website and it says, “I’m the world’s greatest hot dog eating journalist,” you go, “Well, maybe he’s biased,” right?

And somehow, not that many people are looking at source: AI and starting from the premise that it’s garbage at best and biased deceit most likely.

For comparison, 50 minutes to cook 3 cups of white rice (v. 1 cup of white in the original). Similar for the mid/end sections, but seems like the 1st section it drew a lot more current, maybe just more heat for a larger volume of water during the soak.

Was it found in a routine, thorough sweep of the whole school that happens every time after organizations use the building? Or by luck, and it could easily have still been there when kids came back?

Why is this better than the scripting environment in other CAD systems? I’m particular, I looked a bit at https://openscad.org/ previously, though didn’t make much headway modeling the thing I wanted.

Why is a language-level approach better than just an API in an existing, popular language?

So if your system is oscillating wildly, your P term is too large, right?
