Thank you, this makes way more sense to me.
I make art that’s totally mine because I did it through AI. https://imgur.com/a/Rhgi0OC

Thanks for letting me know that Qwant is Bing. It’s hard as a typical person to find any info on search engines, so I appreciate the heads up.
I’ve been noticing that they’ve been getting worse and worse myself. I was recommenced Mojeek and Qwant, but I haven’t made the switch yet. I always forget to use them instead.
This seems like a one-sided article. If you find a better one, I’ll take this down.
Ty, I really like SJW, they’re pretty great here.
These are seasoned ex-redditors here, do you think trying to antagonize them is going to work? Move along.
They haven’t gone that far yet, but they’re on their way. I didn’t think they were like that in the beginning either, but they certainly were advertising themselves to be the best place to go in the beginning for some unknown reason. They now try and take over every community and/or shut down smaller ones. An admin was curating things, which isn’t a great sign. Granted, it was just an admin, but I’m not welcome there anymore. They act like reddit, so I think of them like reddit. That’s just my take, you’re totally welcome to disagree, and you obviously do. I didn’t see the value in spreading out in the fediverse, now I do.
Lemmy World is doing a pretty good job of that themselves. I don’t hate them, but I don’t understand why.
I was thinking more “inner peace”, but “serenity” really works too. Congrats, it’s awesome to see someone not knowing why they feel great or having the words to describe it. We need to spread the serenity.
Generally, inner peace is defined as a low-arousal positive emotional state coupled with a sense of balance or stability (Cherif et al., 2022).
Low-arousal positive states are those calm and relaxed happy feelings that aren’t extreme or exciting. They include feelings of calmness, serenity, tranquility, and contentment, in contrast to feelings like exuberance, ecstasy, or euphoria. Low-arousal positive feelings come from within and may be more authentic, stable, and durable than high-arousal positive feelings (Dambrun et al., 2012).
I think you might be one of those truly mentally healthy people I’ve heard so little about.
Holy shit, they also cancelled it. Lmao
On Wednesday, some of the people who posted about the gift card said that when they went to redeem the offer, they got an error message saying the voucher had been canceled. When TechCrunch checked the voucher, the Uber Eats page provided an error message that said the gift card “has been canceled by the issuing party and is no longer valid.”
That’s interesting and a decent way to do it.
I pay for it, I just read it online. It’s written by the people selling and talks about their lives and issues. It’s pretty great.
It should be like in Hawaii, I agree.
King County doesn’t test for swimming at Lake Union, but thanks for the link.
Edit: Here is a screenshot of where they want us all to swim. Someone called it Goose Beach, lol.
They talk about the logging and such. The problem with following the locals is that their information might be old and handed down OR it might be spot on. I’ve known locals that say one thing and do another as well, where they owned a houseboat and swam in it. I like the idea of being able to read the tests so I can find out for myself with science.
There is a beach by the pedestrian bridge that is heavily used as a beach, even there?
That’s not true in Seattle at all for homeless or down and out. In my experience, it’s only for people who are acting erratic or sketch. We have a newspaper (Real Change) that people sell that makes it easy too. I just give them money and don’t take a paper because I can read it online if I want.
It was, but even when I look at present day it shows weird colors and it doesn’t explain what’s going on. I like the one that someone else linked in this thread, it’s more clear. Also, it was kind of cool to compare 2 years ago to today with the old site, even though the today wasn’t that great.
