Excellent, I’ll have a look at it. Thank you!

It’s a shitty Synology Nas with extreme slow speeds. That’s only amplified by slow upload speeds when I’m not in my local network.
The main difference, and that’s also the difference to the way Gnome handles cloud storage like GDrive, is that I don’t want a network storage. I want integration into my file system, and I want automatic upload of what I’m working on. And I want the ability to say: this directory needs to be available offline. Without having to copy it from my nas to local storage and back again.
Looks really cool but also seems like something I would get into procrastinating my actual to-dos
Fair point but Linux is inherently safe either? The local library here has client PCs running Ubuntu 16.04 lts… my point being that IT infrastructure is only ever as secure as the amount of continuous effort you put into securing it. Linux doesn’t solve that.
Basically Jodel but decentralised? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tellm.android.app
Just use NeXtCloUD
The reality is that there is no real alternative to the office suite including outlook. That is a real problem but just using Linux is not the answer.
Tbh privacy aside the only way to get any LLM to sound like you is to train it on your data. If that would be possible locally I’d be all for it. Maybe not necessarily got SMS but certainly for work mail.
Can I ask what you’re using? I tried virt-manager with a win 10 installation and it barely works. Granted an i5 5200U is not beefy by any means but at 100% CPU usage everything just stutters.
I’ll have to give a go on my old ThinkPad yoga 12.
I would switch in a heartbeat if MS office would be on Linux. I have tried all alternatives, including MS office online and I always encounter some kind of formatting fuck up. That’s just not acceptable for my job.
MS knows this of course.
Pickled applesauce just doesn’t go as well with water glasses of vodka.
Well you’re getting transparent aluminium, what are you complaining about?!

Your last statement stands out to me. Have you considered that it’s the way you interact with whoever you’re interested in? Rather than your looks? Are you nervous, self-conscious, whatever? I’m asking because you keep insisting that your interested in individuals out of your league. That thought would make me nervous. And on the flip side self-consciousness or awkwardness or nervousness or whatever is not very attractive. Socially it’s more acceptable to rejected someone based on looks though.
