It could also be a good stepping stone for further migrations. I can see why a whole OS and software migration might get rolled back (too much change at once for notoriously old and stuck in their ways German bureaucracy) but maybe email first can be a catalyst for “it’s not that scary/difficult” and further steps can follow!

I intentionally installed the Win7 or Win10 image viewer on Win11 a few years ago and it was so simple and worked really well! The Win11 viewer is terrible

That’s such a fascinating read. Love how someone predicted that behaviour so long ago, although I would be interested to see if there are modern studies that help understand why that’s the reaction.
