Isn’t threads a Twitter clone? Will it even effect Lemmy? For me personally I don’t use Mastodon, but I might if threads is successful. I use Twitter to follow famous people I like. If famous people move to the fediverse because of threads that will only make sites like Mastodon better in my opinion.

Yeah I think In a year or two this will be just as good as Reddit, maybe better. Personally I prefer Lemmy, it reminds me of Reddit before it gained mass appeal. America is better at war. Shock and Awe was effective. War is an atrocity, to be good at it you have to be willing to commit atrocities. If Russia had started out with a similar strategy Ukraine might be an occupied territory of Russia right now. I don’t support any invasion, but if you decide to invade a country you need to hit them hard before they have time to organize their defense. I think Russia had some weird Idea that Ukraians were going to welcome them as liberators. I think this is because the Russian government began to believe their own propaganda. I’ve been using Bing chat allot. I got the extension that lets me use it on Firefox. It’s insanely useful, and I feel like it’s getting better with time as it learns. I still use DuckDuckGo for search though, although I’ve been using search less and less as Bing chat gets better.
