Afaik, you can just download windows and run it, you’ll just get an “activate windows” prompt that might be annoying. It’s great if you just want to try something out if you need windows to update firmware of a peripheral.
We had “sink bricks” to solve that problem, somebody was tired of those so they went to the hardware store and bought a couple bricks to hold the buttons down. Eventually the faucets were replaced with proper ones with normal valves.
I have one of mine configured as media controls when I’m wandering around the house (8bitdo controllers ftw)
I actually ran into one of my highschool bullies about 10 years after i graduated, i didn’t recognize them, but they knew me they bought me a drink and apologized and we ended up playing a round of pool. People can change and I’m glad they did for the better.
I had a friend who was about as computer illiterate as they come, they had a crappy gateway laptop(netbook maybe) that had kubuntu on it they preferred it to when they had win vista(yes this was forever ago, i replaced vista with kubuntu because it was lighter than gnome at the time) they loved the kde interface and most of what they did was Myspace Tumblr and Facebook, but even they managed to figure out play on Linux and wine after a few months
