Red meat has a huge carbon footprint because cattle requires a large amount of land and water.

Demand for steaks and burgers is the primary driver of Deforestation:

If you don’t have a car and rarely eat red meat, you are doing GREAT 🙌🙌 🙌

Sure, you can drink tap water instead of plastic water. You can switch to Tea. You can travel by train. You can use Linux instead of Windows AI’s crap. Those are great ideas. But, don’t drive yourself crazy. If you are only an ordinary citizen, remember that perfect is the enemy of good.

rough day, and I don’t back down from much when push comes to shove. however I don’t make much of a mess to the planet, I recycle and scrap my shit and take my garbage out to curb (in bin) once a month, my car is a good mpg car, so I personally get sick of seeing this shit when killing one over-privileged cunt of a billionaire and that make so much vs so many of us giving up more shit. ya got me?

fair enough, no shortage of problems from the wealthy and capitalism at large.

        one battle at a time

I’m with you that the economic system is the root cause of the problem and I’m fighting that battle too in my own way. I have too much to lose to really fight it, but there’s a lot more direct action and community involvement I could be doing. Ideologically, though, I’m anti-capitalist and believe that the way forward is collectivism in the form of anarcho-communism.

That’s a lot harder to achieve than going vegan, though.
