Logan Kilpatrick, lead product manager for Google DeepMind, Gemini, and all AI products at Google, said Google AI Mode will be the default for Google Search “soon.” He said this after Google made google.com/ai go directly to AI Mode’s interface on Friday afternoon.
Yes, but it’s the first and most used with the most content. It’s like eg. with YouTube, there are better alternatives respect conditions and privacy, but nobody and nothing else have even slighly the amount of contents as YouTube. This is why it is important to pass to EU alternatives, but even so it is a task for many years until it will be on level eye a real alternative to the US hegemony in a lot of services. They was too long the reference in the use of internet, to the point to use googeling as sinonym for web searches. Now it’s late and only the way to combat big US monopolies, which will not be easy and fast to do.
