Swing your legs out one side, stand on stones. The other side? Stand in water 😅
Usually you wouldn’t camp so close to water, but this was such a cool spot I couldn’t help it. Plus it was on a fairly busy trail, in good weather, so… 🤷♂️
Nice! What kit do you have there?
Thanks! It’s just a collection of random stuff, all probably too heavy haha.
Onewind 11ft hammock with ridgeline and built in net , along with their underquilt.
I didn’t purposely get that brand, I actually bought those things separately and spaced out. They just had the cheapest price with the best reviews. So far I’m super happy, with the hammock especially.
The rainfly is some cheap thing, but it’s light enough and it works. My favorite thing though is the rainfly snake. It’s a thin lightweight tube that goes over the rainfly, you can see it in the picture there hanging above my ridgeline. That’s my entire rainfly, hidden in there. That way I can see the stars at night, but if rain moves in I can easily hop out, slide off the snake skin, stake down the corners, and go back to bed.
