It looks more like an executive branch “war” on one of the key methods that organizations like the CIA get their budget from since USAID got rug pulled. Not just them though. Groups in Europe have a long history of being funded by those markets as well.
Venezuela by itself isn’t really that big of a deal. Their military would go down as quickly as Panama’s did if Trump really considered Venezuela to be the target.
To those who haven’t lived in the region, there is an extreme amount of corruption down there and it is a lot more overt than the creepiness we get up here. And Venezuela got a lot worse after Chavez.
