I don’t approve of legalized gambling that always yields wins for ultrawealthy and is almost guaranteed loss for everyone else, but it’s especially egregious anyone profits off WMD. It just feels like it should be a nationalized industry that should break even or barely a profit margin that would allow for legitimate defense, and would be a loss for aggression, in any state, anywhere. I’m aware that’s not going to be especially popular among large swaths of most people, and it’s not an analytical opinion, just personal vibes.

You already know. Also corporations trashed pensions for 401k, entrenchment of the working class to support the capitalist class, against their own working class interests. They keep selling us the pipe dream but the few rewarding hits keep us coming back for more.

i think that the scope of the entrenchment is bigger than the working class and its exemplified by how even rational and/or rich people believe in it.
Why would “enlightened rationalists” and rich people not support something that works in their favor?
