Has anyone used a poncho-tarps with a 11ft hammock?

I’m currently considering options like the MLD Pro Poncho (5.5′ x 9′ x 5′ in | 168 x 275 x 152 cm).

My main concern is the geometry. These poncho-tarps are rectangular so to get enough ridgeline length for my 11 ft hammock, I would have to pitch them diagonally.

That gives enough length but leaves very little side coverage.

Hennessy Hammock sells hex-shaped rainflys, and you can get a tube-sleeve for them that is easy to set up and take down. I don’t think they have a poncho tarp any more though.

Tube sleeve for the win, my favorite accessory.

Weighs nothing, and I can sleep under the stars most nights, unless it starts raining in the middle of the night I can jump out, slide the tube off, and boom I’m instantly covered.

Then I just have to anchor the corners and go to bed
