Back in the eighties, I loved Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and upon reading the film’s credits, I discovered the ending song, Oh Yeah, was by a band called Yello. In the spirit of irony, I went to my local record shop in Burnie looking to get a copy for myself. I purchased a cassette copy of ‘The New Mix In One Go’ (a best of album), and it ignited a lifelong love of the band that persists to this day.

Stella, the album from which it comes is also one of their best.

I refered to him being rich because I’m not sure he still is. Probably some significant income through Yello, but I seem to remember that he is/was a gambler, or generally living the lifestyle he sings about.
