what do you feed it? wife and I have a maggie who has taken to chilling in one of our trees. We want to encourage her without making her at all dependent, and certainly dont want to give her anything she shouldn’t have.
Feed this one mealworms and cheese w/ some calcium carbonate mixed in. Doesn’t seem to be dependent even though it’s fed small bits pretty often. When you don’t feed it, it just jumps back on the lawn and does its thing w/ no hard feelings lol.
Apparently good quality cat food is OK in small quantities. Also rolled oats ditto. Natural diet is insects, baby birds and seeds. Some pet shops have mealworms which they really like. My maggies like hard boiled egg (!!) and small bits of cheese and rolled oats. Mince and bacon is far too fatty and is about the worst possible apparently.
