Ukrainian artillery rained down on the fleeing Russians. When a Ukrainian infantry team arrived to mop up, they found only dead Russians and parts of dead Russians.

I think what is crucial here is that Ukraine isn’t necessarily going to give russia the time to recover, even once they implement a sufficient replacement system the loss of pace will have been metastasized into other problems and failures. This is a race, it isn’t just about every second russia loses setting them back, it is about Ukraine pulling ahead and opening up a lead along certain localized parameters that now russia will have to play catch up with.
Or to put it another way, even if the Starlink problem was only a problem for a couple of days, a couple of days still represents a massive clashing and flux of force, setbacks compound quickly into a serious liability from the loss of pace against an opponent that isn’t going to hesitate.
