After its combat debut in Ukraine, Leonardo S.p.A. plans to conduct official tests of the Michelangelo Dome system within NATO in 2027.

These tests will include intercepting ballistic missile attacks and integrating the system into the pan-European air defense command and control structure.

The company expects the Michelangelo program to generate about €21 billion by 2035. Representatives from 20 countries have already expressed interest in purchasing the Italian ‘dome.’

    The Michelangelo system uses sensors and predictive algorithms to detect suspicious activity early and enable the most effective response.

    I hope they test their AI.
