“Test samples of exoskeletons have been delivered to units of our corps and are already being tested in logistics and at combat positions. In particular, in the Pokrovsk direction – the 147th Separate Artillery Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, part of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps,” the corps said.
As far as artillery operators are concerned I could see an exoskeleton being more useful day in day out than a clumsy autoloader.
Such is life in the zone
It’s a bit concerning how Ukraine is becoming the test bed for all this new tech. On one hand it’s great that there are companies out there making this stuff for Ukraine; on the other those same companies would have a vested interest in dragging out the war for as long as possible.
Which is why technologies like helicopters, exoskeletons and UGVs are so vital to Ukraine in that they are technologies that are much more expansive and interesting when applied to peace rather than war. That is how you escape this particular trap.
