Well yeah… Christianity is a death cult. Since the very beginning they’ve been saying that the end times are coming soon. I guess some of them finally realise 2000 years is in no way “soon” and maybe they need to do something about it.
Who ever said there aren’t still disciples? It’s literally the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20; also Mark 16:15-16).

The Bible itself says that no one will know the day or the hour. So yeah, these people are… really something.
The bible also says it’ll be within the lifetime of the disciples, so clearly it got some things wrong, or we somehow missed the apocalypse.

I guess that whole religion idea was a bit shortsighted after all. Sort of a bummer.
