The top official in charge of the federal government’s disaster response has taken to social media to double down on his claim that he’s experienced “teleportation” – an experience he insists was real and connected to his religious beliefs – while also saying his remarks have been taken out of context.
It’s kinda their default? I dunno what you mean, it’s a big part of their belief system
I just mean that Christianity says that all humans are equal in front of God, right? And then you also have massive racism that doesnt come from the Bible, right?
Oh boy, have you read the bible? Cause there is a ton of racism in there, both old and New Testament, even if you take the Bible and Christianity at face value, it’s a religion based on “us vs them” mentality, and racist at its core. Remember this religion was founded at a time of external invasion, increased immigration and “globalization” in the ancient world, it had racist dog whistles all over
No, havent read any of it. Never wanted to… Im not the kind of guy who follows organized religion. But I do think there is a higher meaning to our lives here. Cant prove it, but I dont need to. :) Just a personal feeling.
I think that’s just human hubris. Why are we here for a reason? Why are we important, we aren’t. It’s just something humans tell themselves to feel not so small. Religion is just humans ways yo comfort themselves over things they don’t understand
I think we are very important, and I dont feel small. I think the view that we are small and unimportant comes from science. Its all they keep saying when they talk about space. How insignificant humans are.
You are just having the same opinion, because it comes from there.
Well because that “view” is factually real and undeniable and can be checked and proven.
The idea that we are important is based on nothing, not a thing.
