The world was fine before China joined the WTO and we will be fine if we were to stop trading with them, China on the other hand certainly needs our money to sustain its economic growth. If growth stops in China the whole pyramid scheme collapses, China can’t afford to fight both the USA and the EU in a trade war, not with China’s massive and potentially crippling debt problem. Maybe if China didn’t do so many state subsidies they wouldn’t be in so much debt?

The EU has finally faced up to its position in the USA - EU alliance and has made promising steps to secure sovereignty while keeping trade with the USA going and money coming in.
