A foreign diplomat was killed on their soil. Of fucking course they’d reject the call to “stand down”. Most western countries have gone to war for less.
I doubt Iran does anything more than another symbolic missile attack. But if they want to cause damage, today, August 13, during Tisha B’av is the day to do it. The saddest day of the Jewish calendar believed to be a day destined for tragedy. After we don’t hear about any play by Iran today, unlikely there’s going to be any escalations.
