Do you just mean an easy way to close tabs accessed via the vertical sidebar? I’ve been using this custom FF theme which has an option for a close tabs button alongside tabs when you hover over them. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + W to close the current tab
Unmentioned is first class vertical tabs. It’s still experimental, so you have to enable it via about:config. Set
sidebar.verticalTabsto true.and it’s been that way for the past few versions, which is probably why they don’t mention it in the changelog just yet
