I think it’s one of the most lazy ways to make a video, and leeching off more popular content.
They are not transforming the content enough to be free use.

Sometimes I find it fun to watch a game I will never play, but I also get to chat with the streamer so theres that too.
I can see maybe the parent of a child seeing games as unproductive.
But as an adult it’s a good way to unwind like listening to good music or watching a movie. As long as it’s only for a few hours though, as games can go on and on and on. Some people over do it, and some people have even died from lack of food or breaks.
I really enjoy games, buy them whenever I see them at the thrift stores if I don’t already have the game. Now I have many thousands of games, and no worry about the game companies taking them away from me because these are physical.

I ran a 7 days to die server for a few years, fun to do missions with a lot of friends, and build bases and stuff.

Oh that’s good to know. Thanks!

I feel like 6-7 is just another version of the made you look hand gesture.

Ventoy is great, it’s my go to tool, boots on basically everything (even my MacBook) but… wasn’t there a scare about possibly being compromised because it builds itself from hundreds of modules on github or something like that?

I bought some gold a few years ago, the price has gone up quite a lot since. I invested in small little pieces recovered from a lake somewhere. I figured it’s easier to barter with a tiny piece than a huge coin or bar of gold. It’s only a small part of my portfolio. I decided to invest in a mix of stuff, as you never really know the future. A little bit of cryptos, gold, silver, bullets, canned foods, solar panels, batteries, rain catchment and containers, etc. I also worked on my survival skills, tool skills, crafting skills, etc. it’s a huge way to barter with people when you have skills they need. The biggest thing I invested in is raw land in the middle of nowhere. The land has an RV and working on systems to gather water, power, etc. 99% of the stuff will be solar powered, but we do have a diesel heater, it doesn’t use much fuel as we only use it when it’s really cold.
I think gold is just one of the many things needed to survive if things collapsed. If it’s even needed. It’s just one of those things that makes me feel better as an insurance / just in case. But I feel the other things I have done will make a bigger difference if it ever comes down to it.
Thank you, I added that to a list of printers to look at.
Yes, printers suck.
I’m sure that would fix it, but I went with buying a rollo, hopefully that just works. Thank you for your advice!
I was sure the zebra used its own proprietary stuff, that’s why I got 2 more modern no name printers hoping they would work. I was so fed up with the zebra not working after trying everything I found online.
I ended up buying a rollo printer. Thank you for your advice!
Most of The labels I print come directly from eBay. Sometimes I will have a PDF or JPG of a label to print. Those I click CTL-P and select the printer.
I did play with CUPS a ton, adding custom files, all that. Nothing worked. That’s why I bought 2 other no name label printers to see if those would work. But same issue.
I ended up buying a rollo printer, hopefully hay just works.
Thank you for your advice.
A few years ago I had a threadripper server, then I had to move. I planned it out to have a little low power NAS for traveling.
Now I live offgrid in an RV with some solar panels. My little NAS can be powered by 12V so I have it plugged into a cigarette lighter plug on my battery. It’s been working great so far, has docker so I have a bunch of stuff running on it now.

Some tea bags are plastic.

1/2 to 3/4 of my drives are from server parts deals, only had one of them give me issues and I think the issue was the SATA cable I had. I have several servers.
They are used drives, but I only paid about $100-125 each. Keep watching their site and things go in and out of stock all the time. I wait until they have a good price.

I had to use the Reolink app and it generates a QR code that programmed my camera. But after setup I can use HA to control the camera, move it, zoom, etc.

Chucke2008
I think was the channel name. He showed welding and fabrication, one day he was reading something weird on video Idk and got canceled.

I wonder if it’s some kind of tracking watermark like printers have.
Just saw a thing yesterday about what china calls the “kill line” it’s basically how most people are paycheck to paycheck and one expense can topple people into poverty and homeless. I’m thinking the tariffs goal was to move that line so less people can take action.
