Starcraft - alt and ctrl are frequently used, easy slip to make in a rush Pretty sure there was an override in the options menu specifically for preventing this.
I gotta say its shocking that powerpoint is your go to for image editing like that. Like, its kind of impressive but wow that seems like a super difficult way to do it.
Its sort of a thing. Pine phones use open source linux. I think the main problem is development of apps to run on a linux phone isn’t popular so its pretty bare bones as a system. Havent used one myself though.
Different industry for me, but we just call this professional development. As long as whatever is being read or studied can be related to improving your value to the company, performance at the job, or even learning to perform another job at the company, its not only allowed but encouraged. This of course comes with the caveat that you still need to get all your work done, which it sounds like you do. If anyone hassled me I would just say “this is part of my professional development” and that would be the end of it. I even enter this stuff in my performance reviews, and at my prior job it was expected to have something (and they would budget for me to take a training or class, typically of my choosing).
Dammit but I thought I was as young as I feel!
Wait… That’s still old. Shit.
So I feel like it should be possible for a popular browser like firefox to obfuscate these finger printing results by reporting and requesting standard readouts. For example, requesting layouts for all common phone resolutions, then filtering on the user end and giving the user their actual layout. If every instance of firefox gave the same bogus info it would camouflage a large number of users. I’m sure this would use a little more processing power and data, but would probably be worth having a privacy toggle for.
I am not a tech pro, I assume I am missing something that prevents the feasibility of this idea.
Absolutely. Always be open to changing jobs if you need to, and always keep that option as a back up plan even if things are going well. Know that if you find a new job it may fix some things while introducing new problems, there is always some risk to doing so. If you aren’t in a rush to get out try to line something up that makes the change worthwhile - get a promotion out of it, or at least some pay raise or other benefit. Often times annual raises suck enough that many people need to get a new job to find a decent pay bump anyway, so it’s good to be looking for that. If you haven’t interviewed in awhile line a few up as practice too, so when you find something you’re more serious about it will go smoothly.
I always thought youse guys was a new york city thing.
You can get headaches, anxiety, and a variety of other undesirable effects. Some of us would also lose our jobs if we consumed this so whoever did this is a dickwad.
Looks like that works on PS5, not so sure about PC. I will investigate when I get home, thanks for the tip!
I wish I had a way to permanently disable that mic. Why the fuck is that even there? Do console players use these?! All it does is yank priority from my actual mic if I plug it in to charge.
When I click this link Fdroid says “no such app found”, and it doesnt appear when I search. What gives?
