Comfort can be about how you look. I have some clothes that are super comfortable, but if I wore them out in public I would be arrested because I look like a drug dealer. Find something comfy in the way that it reflects how you want to be seen

I mean, looking like you know what you’re doing, looking confident doesn’t mean you have to dress plain.
Also I am sure gym bros will complement you on your body. Kind of like how as a straight man I only get compliments on my facial hair from other men. Look for validation from your friends not randos
When I first saw it I thought more about voter fraud. Dead people voting.
I watched a video a little while ago , I think the only value winamp has is nostalgic and historical. If it was really open source maybe we could get a really good fork and that’s about it, I think. Maybe I’m missing the point, let me know I’m not very smart at this stuff.
The Alchemist, I had to read it for a community college class. It’s probably the most predictable book I’ve ever read, but not in an entertaining way. Just painfully boring.
I read Siddhartha for highschool a couple years before, I would say that the books are almost identical, except I liked Siddhartha more.
You want a book with similar themes but actually amazing? The wizard of Earthsea.
I know the books aren’t literally the same. But the vibes feel very similar. I want to say they have very similar structure, but my memory doesn’t work that great.
So I was teaching some kids snowboarding, one kid started talking to me about musk on the chairlift. He tells me that musk is the greatest engineer to ever live. I say that he’s really more of a business man buying up companies. Kid is not convinced. I tell him that the only engineering that musk may have done was software engineering on PayPal. Kid thinks that’s great support of his claim.
Adults and 11 year olds are pretty much the same, so I would say there’s lots of people that think musk is a super genius. Probably a dwindling amount, but there’s a lot of people on earth.
I don’t know about wild, but UNSONG has been a very weird trip. It’s like science fiction, except instead of science its Jewish kabbalah. There’s angels, demons, alt history American politics, religious references that are truly esoteric, and puns… lots and lots of puns.
Now that you mention it, I seem to remember Xenophon stumbling across giant ruins that perplexed him while out on campaign. I think they were Persian? It very much could be drawing on the experiences of people seeing the ruins of fallen empires.
Edit: AI is telling me that Xenophon traveled through the impressive ruins of Assyrian cities, he was fighting the Persians.
I wonder who did this first? Didn’t ultima have a storyline like this, or am I misremembering a game from before I was born
I don’t know much about Austria, what’s access to mental healthcare like there?
Just listened to it. Yeah I get it
There is the old saying that “People don’t quit jobs, they quit bosses.” My advice is to go to therapy first, I think the question will sort itself out after that.
Wildermyth is a weird game that comes up with really interesting procedurally generated stories as you play through the life of an adventurer.
I’ve had a lot of luck joining a run club, but there are other activity based clubs. The trick to these though is that you need to keep going to them for a while before you really start becoming friends with people.
What’s really worked for me was working as a snowboard instructor on the weekend. I’m not saying do that specifically, but finding a second job based around teaching is an amazing way to meet other people who like meeting new people and being nice and sharing their skills and experiences. I should specify, the people I meet are other instructors. I’ve also met some people at events, like when I got my avalanche rec 1 cert.
I think it was around the time of the windows 10 beta, I was trying that out and also dual booting with Linux mint.
I remember being a little frustrated with getting games to work great on Linux, but even more frustrated just using Windows. So I thought “Linux makes me less mad, I’m just going to use that”
How much of the micro plastics from 3d printing make it to the outside? It does make a lot micro plastics, but most people have their printers inside. Do we know if most of that plastic makes it outside? Or is just contaminating the homes of people who 3D print.
Or is this like one of those, it’s bad so there is no acceptable degree of usage?
Predicting the next century seems a bit much. But I’m glad they are experiencing success, I hope we all benefit from their discoveries.
As a 40k fan, there are so many good ones (as comes as a surprise to no one). Some personal favorites of mine are:
Not fiction nor fantasy, and that I think makes it all the more deserving
I think you can just be grateful to have or experience something. Like you can’t be grateful to anyone for a full moon, but you can be grateful that you saw it.
