I went out before to scatter another packet of flower seeds in pots and a maggie was watching me intently right up close on the fence. I talked to it and it started singing with me right there!

Melbcat started slamming the screen door from inside because she heard me talking, and despite coming back inside she’s now standing up on her hind legs to bang the door, wanting to go out. For safety reasons I really don’t want to let her get used to going out again though.
