Quickest way to stop massive Russian losses: TURN AROUND and march your happy asses to Moscow, and have a few words with the shit bags in power.

Fuck, even just every soldier going home would cripple any ability to punish them for being AWOL.

They’d probably get killed by tactical nuclear. That’s my theory what happened to that one mercenary leader when he stopped his march to Mozcow: He was threatened to be evaporated.

      Didn’t help him later.

Prigozhin likely didn’t secure his family well enough from Putin. Send a hit squad to detain his wife and daughters and the “rebellion” was over.

Of course Prigozhin’s days were numbered as soon as he started to rebel against Putin.

How little Russia values the lives of its soldiers is one of the core things that makes them so weak.

This is a disgusting waste of human life that is futile in aim on top of being wrong.

It makes more sense if you accept that one of the fundamental goals of the war is to reduce specific demographics of the Russian population. If the smart ones flee and the dumb ones are conscripted and marched into the ocean you’re left with a docile middle of the road cattle population with no will to struggle against the elite.

There is no way to sort smart people from dumb people, they are killing off their future inventors and innovators by handing them an AK47 and telling them to go die and that there will be no attempt to rescue them when they are wounded.

“smart” people are told this just the same as “dumb”…

Russia has no future now, it is basically a human rights crisis in the shape of an authoritarian state conducting a military offensive.

Commanders are concealing the true scale of losses by listing the dead as missing in action.

Families of MIA probably also don’t get any money because there’s no official dead certificate.

These stories about the Russian/Ukraine war reminds me of the book “1984” for some reason.

In 1984 the war was pointless. Alliances keep changing and the army you were fighting against 3 days ago might be the army you support now. Also, nobody was able to recall why the war even started and what the borders were initially. No sure it’s a great comparison
