Back in the eighties, I loved Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and upon reading the film’s credits, I discovered the ending song, Oh Yeah, was by a band called Yello. In the spirit of irony, I went to my local record shop in Burnie looking to get a copy for myself. I purchased a cassette copy of ‘The New Mix In One Go’ (a best of album), and it ignited a lifelong love of the band that persists to this day.
Stella, the album from which it comes is also one of their best.


No need to talk about them in the very past tense.
I refered to him being rich because I’m not sure he still is. Probably some significant income through Yello, but I seem to remember that he is/was a gambler, or generally living the lifestyle he sings about.
I just mean that people mostly cite their 80s work, but they continued into the 2000s and 2010s.
