Australia will provide an additional $10 million AUD (about $6.9 million USD) to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund to help sustain electricity, heating, and essential services amid ongoing Russian strikes on civilian and energy infrastructure, the Australian Foreign Ministry said on 23 January.

If Ukraine has been disrupting Russia’s power grid, that’s news to me.
That’s the false equivalency Russia will claim. Ukraine has been imposing oil sanctions. It’s super effective.
Even if they were - which they aren’t. Tough, don’t declare imperialist wars and it wouldn’t have happened.
Really? You’re not watching then.
A number of oblasts have had power grids hit causing blackouts, even districts of Moscow. It’s not anywhere near the incessant pounding that Ukraine has suffered, but it’s happening. Last week it was occupied Mariupol
Ukraine has also had a highly successful campaign of attacking oil refineries and transportation. This is more about cutting off Russia’s income, but gave rise to fuel shortages for the Russian people a few months ago. My understanding is that Russia has now managed to source refined fuel from other countries now
Fuel is directly used in war. Electricity in the near-front areas is the same.
Heating in the cities that are not engaged in direct military activities is a terrorist tactic designed to kill or at least break the will of civilians.
That’s different.
Cool. Maybe they should stop occupying it.
There’s nothing fair about this. The orcs asked for it after 3 winters of their BS. Ukraine did nothing but exist independently, and would stop immediately if Putin ordered a complete withdrawal.
