Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth responding to a question about the Strait of Hormuz says that the only thing prohibiting transit is Iran shooting at shipping. He says it would be open if Iran doesn't do that. Hegseth says that's why destroying Iran's navy was a primary objective for the U.S. to prevent the interdiction of shipping, which Iran has used as leverage in the past. Hegseth goes on to say that the U.S is not going to allow the Strait to "remain contested or with a lack of flow of commercial goods" and that its working with international partners to "make sure energy flows."
We attacked Florida and demanded that they don’t cut off traffic to Alabama through the Gulf of Mexico. Except it isn’t nearly that wide, it’s 35x smaller
I mean. We should probably build a wall around Florida.
Republican goobers like catchy names. We could call it “America’s Cock Ring.”
You’d be surprised how popular that would be both in context and out.
“So that wall is to keep it the hurricanes?”
“It’s for when the climate change causes shrinkage!” (to keep the swamp trolls out. when their swamps become lagoons)
