    Austria are you watching ? Our rail hasn’t been upgraded for about 100 years and we have disparate gauges across the country, what fuking incompetent mess.

  • Only 1000? The infrastructure wasn’t in a great state before the war (the railroad’s employees are doing a hell of a job keeping everything running), and with all the bombing, a lot more will be necessary.

    Ummmmmm…maybe I’m being a cynic here, but, wouldn’t it make more sense to do this AFTER the war?

    Last thing you want is to invest all this money, and then…a stray rocket blows up the rails you installed last week.

      That doesn’t change the problem of a stray rocket blowing up a section of existing track this week

      I dont think it will be a major problem. And while yes, it will make a part of railroad unusable if track will be hit, but it will not make the whole railroad unusable. It isnt a big task to replace few meters of damaged track.
