Lemmy has drastically changed, recently. I’m sure this isn’t the first time, but this is the most drastic change since I’ve been here, since the massive API fee increase announcement at that other site.

what are you talking about? You’re on a thread about Taylor Swift and you’re going on about bandwagon fallacy and some internal Lemmy thing/change lmao

If artists taking their money back from the record companies is bandwagon fallacy, then I’m okay with that.

Please can you elaborate so the rest of us understand where your comment came from. Right now it just seems like you posted in the wrong thread.

My guess is that it’s a backhanded way of saying they don’t think articles about taylor swift should be on lemmy.

When she records something, I’d say sure, drop it here, even though it’s not my kind of music. But fucking bloomberging about her assets is not music.

THEY SAID “LEMMY HAS DRASTICALLY CHANGED, RECENTLY. I’M SURE THIS ISN’T THE FIRST TIME, BUT THIS IS THE MOST DRASTIC CHANGE SINCE I’VE BEEN HERE, SINCE THE MASSIVE API FEE INCREASE ANNOUNCEMENT AT THAT OTHER SITE.”

        …

Yeah, I don’t get it either.
