My useless talent is being able to listen to a song, in pretty much any language, and be able to sing along to the chorus after a few listens. It always shocks my partner, which pleases me.
What’s your useless talent? Discuss.
Bonus question: what’s your favourite non-English language song?
I’m pretty much ambidextrous. It’s sounds more useful that it actually is, although I can write with my non-dominant hand if the other hand is occupied
I’m good at knots. It has very little real-world application. But if you need to lash sticks together to make dodgy camping furniture, or to make a long rope shorter without cutting it, hit me up.
In my weeaboo days I used to love listening to Japanese language music. Somehow a hook / chorus in pop music transcends understanding the language. It actually helped me learn some Japanese.
Long story short: Uma Thurman breaks her paralysis by first wiggling a single toe, before going on a revenge killing spree that spans two entire movies. Feet and Revenge = Tarantino

estimating the time of day
I can usually tell within a few minutes

I’m pretty good at guesstamating measurements. I’ll measure whatever it is I’m guessing up against the real thing and I’m usually spot on.

Neunundneunzig Luftballoons is a banger.
I love knots also! The best thing about them isn’t learning how to do them, but figuring out what the right knot for the occasion is.

I can wiggle my little toes without moving the others. Taught myself after reading Dune as a teen and misunderstanding a line.
Engel or Coisich A Ruin or Agolo. … all too different to pick one
Sounds more like a Kill Bill reference to me haha
Oh? I’ve somehow managed to never see that.
