I stg the bbc and nyt could run the beheaded babies story on a loop and as long as they changed the nation/ethnicity you’re allowed to be racist against every few months they could keep dumb fucking libs entertained for decades.

Interesting use of the word “he” around 0:32

It’s weird the way they always talk about the state as though it was exactly one person.

The irony of poking fun of UK state media, while posting a link to a website controlled by Chinese state media.

Yeah, I was subject to the same heavy propaganda you were, only difference is that I was mindful enough of it to not let it get me to the point of saying absurd nonsense like what you said.

Also, you can’t really do the whole “I know I’m also not immune to propaganda” thing when you were just mindlessly regurgitating it to explicitly defend the British state propaganda network.

Okay lets do the litmus test:

What do you think of tianmen square?

What do you think of the Uyghurs?

              Did the URSS create famines?

Edit: i sure riled up a bunch of tankies 😂

What do you think of tianmen square?

Nice big urban square, lined with beautiful historical buildings.

What do you think of the Uyghurs?

You don’t meet them too often, but the ones I met were nice people.

                Did the URSS create famines?

Famines in the USSR were caused by a multitude of factors - drought and (civil) war being the most prominent. The war was brought to the USSR by outside forces - the whites where financed by the UK and the US, WWII was brought to the USSR by Germany. So famine in the USSR was created by western forces more than anything.

After 1947 there were no known famines. Since famines were a regular occurrence before we can conclude that the Soviets effectively ended famines in their territory by then.

That’s literally not whataboutism - whataboutism is when you use irrelevant topics to incorrectly prove a point. The poster literally said it was a litmus test, which means mentioning multiple things as they did is correct and is not whataboutism, especially since their argument is about propaganda.

That’s definitely the most sinister thing about propaganda, that everyone things they’re unaffected by it.

Lmfao. Least obviously biased propaganda piece against the DPRK AND most trustworthy BBC reporting.

“South Korean movies are smuggled over the border to show how rich and free south Korea is”

What even is the part where you can’t type “older brother” because it automatically changes it and tells you the right context to use it…even when the “wrong” context isn’t present. (And really this would be based if true anyway because…gross?)

Edit: maybe provide some explanation for why this “reporting” is trustworthy and relevant instead of a propaganda piece.

It’s literally just a woman making claims holding a prop. There’s no further evidence.

Considering that the bbc is not a very trustworthy media outlet, I view them reporting this with the same incredulity of all the maga cried going on about Hunter Bidens laptop.

Not to say I don’t think PRNK isn’t an authoritarian regime but all the things they claim about that phone are the kind of malware that Western agencies use all the time.
