      The girl, who recorded a video against the backdrop of a burning oil depot in Adler, was fined 30 thousand rubles

      “The Adler District Court considered the material on an administrative offense under part 1 of article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation against Karina Oshchurkova. It was established that on 3.08.2025 the girl posted a video on social media showing the aftermath of a UAV strike on the fuel storage base in the Adler district. The information posted by Oshchurkova violates the rules prohibiting the filming of UAVs and the operation of air defense systems, which means that the actions of the defendant contain signs of an administrative offense “Failure to comply with rules of conduct during an emergency or threat of its occurrence,” — reports the press service of the regional courts.

            The thread isn’t about a US citizen, but yes, as seen at the link, though it’s not as bad as in Russia.

            • Well, once someone converted it to dollars and started comparing it to costs in the US, it kind of opened the topic, don’t you think?

              Also, according to both the link you provided and the income inequality page by country, the US and Russia are on par; they both have Gini coefficients of 85-90, and PIP (poverty & inequality plaform) indexes in the 35-40 range.

              Which metric did you see that says Russia’s wealth inequality is worse than the US’s?

                I don’t see anyone comparing it to costs in the US. The US dollar is still one of the most leading currencies used for trade, and it makes sense to convert to US dollars for the figure to be meaningful outside Russia. Though again, Russia and the US are not quite on par, as the US is 25 on the list with a lower Gini ratio as of the latest data point from 2021. I don’t know why you keep shifting it from one subject to another. Just like bringing up the US has no relevance to someone being arrested in Russia, income inequality is not as relevant to my point about wealth inequality.

                Edit: Also, if you were 100% in the right on this, the conclusion would then be “Average salary is a poor metric for the US too”. OK. So?

            @sxan @ukraine @Rose

            At any rate, it’s the ruZZian cocksucking GOP leaving their lipstick on Putins dick that are driving America towards this disparity. So, either way you cut it it’s ruZZian corruption or those who are replicating it’s systems abroad.

      If I hated the regime and it’s military genocidal complex I’d take a selfie in front of a burning infrastructure.

      Someone provided a telegram link with a video. She doesnt say anything. Its just a music playing in the background. Even tho I can speak fluent Russian, I have no idea what the track says as artist sings in a extremely quirky way.

      Edit: After a second listen I can hear certain words and sentences. To me lyrics just a bunch of phrases which are not connected to each other in a comprehensive sense.
