Does anyone own the Sony WH1000XM4 headphones? They are on sale right now and I am considering buying them. But I do have earbuds already and don’t know if it’s worth it. I know they will make me happy for a while but I could also be happy without them. They might also be too big for my head.

I have them, they’re great headphones. Are your earbuds noise cancelling? That’s the main benefit of using the XM4’s. They have great sound too.

Can you try them on in store?

I have the Sony WF1000XM4 earbuds actually and I like them, but I’m kind of sick of having things in my ears. They are good for portability though.

Yep, I might try them on in store.

I’ve got the XM3’s and I think they’re great. Use them almost every day, battery still good after 6+ years.

I’ve got the XM3’s as well and I absolutely love them. My manager has the 4s and he adores them. Highly recommend!

      What’s your use case?

One of the biggest weaknesses of the XM4 is that they don’t fold like their predecessors or successors.

If you want to carry it around a lot, it might not make sense to buy them compared to what you already have, or one of the other models.

I’ve got the 3s as well and they’ve been great. The 4s have multi device so they can be connected to two devices at once.

Not enough for me to upgrade but worth it for anyone buying for the first time.

Also, the 5s lose the folding headband so the 4s can become more compact
